About Father's House Ministries International

History

Father's House Ministries International (FHMI) is a dynamic church located in Elgin, SC. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

Our church was founded in 2004 by Pastor Tony Powell with the first service being held at Stover Middle School in Elgin, SC. Believing that the purpose was to "embrace brokenness with wholeness", 100 people filled the school cafeteria for the service. In November of that year, FHMI moved to Blythewood, SC and held services at Blythewood Academy. At that time, FHMI joined Pine Grove Church in Blythewood and held Tuesday night bible service there and Wednesday night bible study at the coffee house on Wednesday night in Elgin. In the middle of 2005, the church moved into the Regal movie theater at the Village at Sandhill in Northeast, SC and continue hosting mid week bible studies at coffee shops and homes in the community.

In 2007, the associate pastor, Lorenzo White, became the senior pastor of Father's House. As he began setting the course for Father's House to move into a permanent location, the church continued growing using 2 theaters to hold the adult service and kid's church. On Mother's Day of 2012, FHMI held its first service at its current location on Sessions Rd. in Elgin, SC. Currently, Father's House continues to stand on the vision God has set through Pastor White to "reach the world with the gospel"

5 YEAR VISION

Within the next five years, grow as a multicultural church that consistently impacts fellow believers, our community, our city, our state, the international community, and all generations. We will transcend denominational lines, racial barriers, economic barriers, social standings, and ethnic discrimination; to the glory of God.

MISSION STATEMENT

Father's House Ministries International is a multicultural church living out Isaiah 56:7 "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." We are committed to displaying the life-changing power of Jesus Christ in a practical and understanding way.

Because of the grace of God we are hopeful about all those in our community. We remember Romans 5:5, "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Our hope is consistent, leading us to fulfill the call of God.

CONFESSION OF FAITH

People are standing in line to get in this church, to worship God, to adore God, to see God, and to hear the word of God. Every seat is filled in every service with expectations of signs, wonders, and miracles; In our Sunday morning service and activities; our Wednesday night bible study; and any other service or activity that we may have. 

Every need in this ministry is met, and we are 100% tithe givers. All of our property is paid off in full, and we owe no man anything! Every member of this church is healed, healthy, blessed, sprit filled, and prosperous. We are reaching all generations, our communities, our city, our state, and the uttermost parts of the earth with the gospel through our prayer and support. 

For this is a prosperous year for us, and the doors of success have been opened, we shall succeed in everything in Christ; and the doors of failure have been (CLAP) closed, and we shall not know defeat. (REPEAT 3X) 

And being fully persuaded, that what he has promised, He is able also to perform. In Jesus' name, Amen, Amen, and Amen!!
